The tropical nature of Florida offers exciting scuba dive jobs such as scuba dive instructors and divemasters. Commercial dive jobs are also available in Florida.

Dive instructor jobs employment requires specific training, licensing and certification in order to train and certify non-divers in the sport of recreational scuba diving. Instructing others to dive safely in our beautiful marine world can be a rewarding career and it keeps you in the water as well. A scuba diving instructor can also be employed by a dive charter or resort to guide certified divers on a sport dive. If you don't have your Instructor certification, a Divemaster certification will enable you to be employed as a guide with resorts and carters as well.

The enjoyment of a dive instructor job in Florida has the added benefits of working and living near the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico or the inland springs as well as the opportunity to work with vacationing people, can make dive instruction a rewarding career. Moreover, if you are looking for employment that lets you live and work in a tropical area for any length of time, becoming a dive instructor job may be your ticket. While the dive instructor may not see the wealth of some other occupations, working in Florida or other tropical locations could be the time off you need from your college studies, or a short vacation from your true job search.
