New Web Site Devoted to Diving in Florida

November 12, 1998 -- The Florida Scuba Connection began the task of connecting Florida dive shop, charter operators and equipment retailers to the rest of the world.  The FSC mission is to place the diving public in touch with the best that Florida has to offer by visiting dive shops and charters around the State and placing the cream of the crop in a searchable web site for all to reach.

For those businesses that do not have a web site, the Florida Scuba Connection will provide assistance in developing these sites so that the public can find some truly amazing scuba related opportunities.   See the Vendors Page for details.

December 12, 1998 -- The Florida Scuba Connection now ranks No. 1 when using the Excite search engine and the keywords:

    scuba and Florida    or
    Florida Scuba Charters

Let the Florida Scuba Connection develop a web site for you that will help you noticed on the web!  Or ask the Florida Scuba Connection to provide a link to your existing site and reap the benefits of increased exposure to the dive community.

March 6, 1999 -- The Florida Scuba Connection reaches the 10,000 mark.

At the end of the day on March 4, 1999, the Florida Scuba Connection logged more than 10,000 user session in the latest 30 day period.  The site continues to grow as a resource for divers and those in the dive business by providing linked listings to dive operators' web sites.  In addition, divers who cannot find what they need can have their questions posted to to the Divers' Request page allowing dive operators the ability to respond directly to the diver via e-mail.

August, 2000 -- The Florida Scuba Connection adds a Divers Message Board

This page is designed to let the divers express their experiences here in the Sunshine State.  If you know of a great dive site, want information from other divers or just want to share your experience, this is the place.  Enjoy.

August 13, 2001 -- The Florida Scuba Connection has published more than 1,000 Divers' Request since it began counting such requests in 1999.  For information about the Divers' Request page, click here.  

During the last week, there were more than 9,000 page views from users around the world.

February, 2004  The Florida Scuba Connection is quickly nearing 1 million visitors since July of 2002.

The Divers Request Page will soon be updated.  Dive Shop Owners, Charter Owners and Scuba Instructors should see the FSC Link Page for more details.

May 2004  The Florida Scuba Connection has surpassed the 1 million visitor mark!  The Divers Request page is now updated daily and the most recent request number is 1624 - up from Number 1352 when updating began again on February 20, 2004.  That's more than 270 leads to subscribed link members of the Florida Scuba Connection.

March 2005  The popularity of the Florida Scuba Connection continues to rise with more than 1.65 million visits since last May.
